What is my Wxx, what does it mean?

One of the most common questions is, what is my Wx number. It is not related to your Vin code that starts WD(b, d) as that is the Manufacture and country code, area code.

The number is the Mercedes reference and if you look at the image below, then all will become clear. This is reproduced from a wiki link under the creative commons licence.
